Claire set up her contemporary jewellery business in 2005 after graduating from London Metropolitan University. Claire studied Silversmithing, Jewellery and allied crafts. This was a varied course with lots of experimentation with materials which suited Claire's textile background.

Claire's most recent collection focuses on the use of three colours to create a selective palette within a collection of jewellery. The design process has allowed Claire to experiment with colours and shapes to create a unusual selection of jewellery. Claire has enjoyed the freedom of creating a new collection, being able to play with new ideas and designs whilst making in her studio.

During Claire's degree her final project was based on a tea strainer and this led to a great exploration of the traditions of tea drinking and experimentation of using tea as a material. This project was the starting point for the Tea collection.

Claire continues to use tea paraphernalia to inspire and develop the tea collection. Drinking tea fuels every session in the studio. Her continual interest in materials and processes helps her work progress, she finds her work develops best when working and experimenting.
